Engineer José Eduardo Fiates performed a symbolic act, handing over leadership of the Certi Foundation to engineer and businessman Erich Muschellack. The event took place at Sapiens Parque and also marked the inauguration of Certi’s new Innovation Center. Muschellack, now general superintendent, expressed his focus on innovation and entrepreneurship, highlighting the need to take advantage of the technological waves of industry 4.0 and 5G.

He stressed the importance of partnerships with universities to strengthen companies’ competitiveness. The new leader plans to integrate Certi with the Santa Catarina Technology Association (Acate) to boost entrepreneurship. Fiates praised Certi’s relevance and considered Muschellack the right person to continue the institution’s work. Muschellack, who has a successful career in the technology sector, now takes on the responsibility of leading Certi.
